Chapter: Palouse - Snake River Chapter

Chapter Communications

The Palouse - Snake River is geographically large Chapter, stretching from St. Maries to Grangeville, and Elk City to Walla Walla. The PSR covers two major universities, the University of Idaho in Moscow, and Washington State University in Pullman, as well as several US Forest Service offices and the Moscow Forest Sciences Lab, and Idaho Dept. of Lands, Potlatch Corp., and Northwest Management, Inc. offices.

The PSR typically meets 3-4 times per year, and hosts occasional workshops and field tours. In 2012, we held workshops on trucking logistics, LiDAR applications in forestry, and log scaling.

For 2 years, the PSR has held 'First Friday Breakfasts' at the Breakfast Club in Moscow on the first Friday of each month.
