Company Harvest Manager

Description

This role is an integral part of the Timberlands leadership team responsible for the forestry, engineering, and harvesting, based out of Springfield, OR. This is a full-time, exempt position, reporting to the Springfield Area Manager. This Harvest Manager position will be a functional lead for Company Harvesting operations including the management of safety, environmental stewardship, quality, production, costs, and leadership of the company harvest crews. Job responsibilities will be shared with a 2nd Company Harvest Manager and coordination with all other forest management operations is paramount to this role (i.e. road construction, forestry, engineering, contract harvesting activities). The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the Integrated Skills Development Process (ISDP). The objective of ISDP is to provide for a structured process for individual development matching business skill set needs in the areas of forestry, engineering, land use, and harvesting.
