welcome to the emerald chapter web page

The Emerald Chapter of the Society of American Foresters (SAF) is comprised of approximately 105 natural resource managers in and around the Lane County area. Our group meets monthly to promote continued advancement of our profession, to discuss current issues in natural resource management and to share ideas with fellow professionals.

Become a member or learn more about the Society of American here.

Learn more about the Emerald Chapter: see who our chapter officers are, read our monthly newsletter, or download the chapter handbook. And, every now and again, one of our members will be in the news!
