to advance forest science, technology, practice, education, and a conservation ethic to benefit society

Chapters: Mid-Columbia

Mid-Columbia Society of American Foresters,
Happy Thanksgiving! Our last meeting partially consisted of marching through dusty roads at 6,000-feet elevation of the Naneum Road, directly on the south side of Mission Ridge. Good thing we're foresters and not treasure hunters; our mission was to investigate blister rust occurrence on the mixed conifer stands including white bark pine, but we found none. I thought we had some superb dialogue throughout the day. Welcome again to our newest chapter members Alan Kelso of USFS and Tim Murphy of BLM.

Please save the date of Thursday, December 17, 6:00 PM at Leonardo's Restaurant in Wenatchee. Details to follow. Please send me agenda items. Andy Perleberg, chair
